I can change the schedule so it doesn't affect anyone. Everyone would get 1 bye week if we go to 18 teams. Or no change if we fill teams.

I say what I have always said, drop to 18 teams and do a secondary live auction that last no longer than 48 hours, say Saturday and Sunday. Each team owner gets say $50 (does not matter how much as long as all get the same) and opne it un for bidding, if you win a player you must drop a current player into FA to make room and that player follows the current FA rules. Then, you just need to handle max bidding rules in as much if you max bid you can not bid on any other players and if your max bid is matched then it goes to a lottery among all max bidders. The no bidding on anyone else prevents someone from max bidding on everyone till he wins a lottery, one and done on the max bid so do it carefully. This can be done over a weekend. I'm in favor of cutting down to 18 teams. As far as what to do with the players on those teams, I like Ronny's idea.

I voted 18 teams but don't really have a strong opinion either way.

I am highly opposed to Ronny's idea! Nothing personal of course, but the thought of someone having such a dominate roster bolstered by just one of those guys on the open teams would unfairly set the league out of balance. We all drafted through our own "skill" and I don't feel good about making it about luck after all the time I've put into building my roster.

I was thinking that Ronny's idea was good if we couldn't get two more people.

I vote for filling the teams. I don't like contraction because I think any way you do it there will be some people left out in the cold. Keeping the league at 20 is fairest for everyone. People are going to come and go in this league. It's just natural. So our answer every time someone leaves shouldn't be contraction.

And as much as we want to believe everyone in this league is completely involved... 9 people have voted on this poll. 9! Less than half of the league.

Thanks Steve. I sent you an invite. I filled the other team yesterday with Daniel. We are back to 20 teams again. I hope we all stay together this time....at least thru the season.
Thanks Allen

so why ask want we wanna do? when u don't even listen to it!
"And as much as we want to believe everyone in this league is completely involved... 9 people have voted on this poll. 9! Less than half of the league." WHATS THAT MEANT TO MEAN? cause we have only heard from half the league, the vote don't count and we can do whatever we want

It means... 20 teams, 18 teams, 16 teams, it doesn't matter, people are going to lose intrest and drop out. It happens, people get bored and move on. Turnover is very common in dynasty leagues, in my experience. So if only half the league votes for a poll about the future of the league, that's an indicator right there of the level of intrest the league has. So just delete teams because we've had some turnover? I know Kirk has been actively looking for replacement owners. And I'm not speaking for him, but if it were me, Id be very dissappointed that only half the league took the time to vote. I hope I'm wrong, but in a year or two I would bet we will need to replace an owner. It's going to happen and changing the number of teams isn't going to change that.

I had been looking for replacement long before I posted the poll. No answer. As soon as people started voting, I found 1 owner. So I wasn't ignoring it. But only 9 voted....I expected a few more votes. Not all votes, just more than 9

I voted, but I almost didn't because it didn't matter to me one way or another what happened to those two teams. Maybe some of the guys didn't vote because they just didn't have a strong opinion on the issue. I dont necessarily think that it is at all indicative of anyone's commitment.
