I have the 4th pick this round. What would you be willing to give up in terms of picks?

I'll trade you 5th round picks and 6th round...you would be picking 9 picks later in the 5th and 9 picks earlier in the 6th.

So here's the deal: My 5th round pick to Lyle for his 5th and 6th round picks. As soon as Lyle confirms, I guess it's official.

That makes no sense, move back in an early round so you can move up in the NEXT round?

Yep, I read the offer wrong. I thought he wanted to swap 5th rounders (allowing him to move way up) and then give me his 6th rounder. My apologies.

Nope, I'll swap 5th rounders and 6th rounders essentially allowing us to both move up...and I'll give a swap option to be used in any round 17 or later...

Sorry Lyle. Between our trade not working out and me drafting your guy, I'm sure you're real happy with me today!

I think there's a good core of guys here, and I'm optimistic that this is gonna be a great league. I am worried though that serious guys here are gonna grow impatient. If there are guys that aren't checking in at least every 12 hours, they're probably not real committed to this. I realize that life can get in the way, and there can be a valid excuse for missing a pick. Generally speaking, however, I think something might have to change.
A suggestion: The guys that are proving to not be committed are weeded out. Their teams are auto picked the rest of the way, and we have a dispersal draft at the end of the 27 rounds.

With hopes of a rebound and monster season, I select Jason Heyward, OF ATL I really thought he would last until I got up this round lol

I was being pulled in like 3 directions with this pick, but wanted to go with him in a keeper league since he has the highest upside. If Zobist didn't get taken the pick before me though, I probably would've gone with him.

I was going to take Heyward at the top of the round, but decided on a SP instead. I knew he wouldn't last.

So are we going to have any kind of plan to finish the draft on time? On the one hand, I'd like to see a smaller time limit so more picks are done, but on the other hand, I'd rather see managers build their own team over having one picked for them.

I would have snapped up Zobrist as well if he fell to me. Nice pick though with Kimbrel. Let's see if this sets off a run on closers. I hope not because I don't want to have to take one anytime soon.

I was up in the air with Howard or Bumgarner all day waiting on my pick. Back and forth. Tim, you got my other guy.

That's an easy trade if you want it! Although, when Kimbrel went, Konerko was my guy. I was drooling. He's an awesome pick this late in the draft! Oh well, Bumgarner is good too, if you don't mind not having any players in the field who can hit the ball!
