Young talent is going quick. A little early for Trout but he should be a good player

Well my thinking was he wouldn't be there for my next pick so if I wanted him I had to pick him now.

Seems like the clock expired on the next pick. In this instance, can the next guy pick right away or would he need to wait for the commish to post the "auto" pick first?

The next guy can pick right away. You don't have to wait for me.

I can't believe it took this long for Hamels to go.

I can't believe how slow this draft is going, at this rate we will be starting the season after the all-star break...this isn't rocket science...the first 300 or so players should be fairly easy to pick, what are we going to do when we have to draft players most have never heard of? You do realize that there are over 1200 major league players.......I don't mean to sound negative......Just venting here....need a baseball fix.....humor me, I'm an old man....

Yes, it would be better if it was faster, but this is a slow draft. This is how they go. That's why they're started in February. I check this board constantly. My iPhone is always on me. It takes me one second to check and see who is up. But, I understand that not everyone has an iPhone, they can't check during work hours, etc. So, I wish everyone here would be as busy here as I am, but we're not gonna get all 20 people to be that motivated.

That's why people do live drafts, so they don't have to wait. I check it pretty often through the day as well with my iPhone, but I do understand that we don't all have that luxury and that some of us have no access to a computer during the day.

I just wanna add that I think slow drafts are better for us to get our fantasy or baseball "fixes". With a standard live draft, you sit down and after a couple hours it's all over. With a draft like this you can lock yourself in for weeks. I'm just gonna relax and enjoy it.

I'd reccommend making it a 6 hour limit. Still, the season starts in roughly 2 months. We'll be fine.

Vic, who is next in line to pick - had his last pick made for him! Any way to find out if he's still around? Don't really want to have to wait 12 hours again...

I sent him an email. I would like the draft to move a little faster but its ok. Plenty of time.

I wish Vic would go because I already know who I'm taking. If he doesn't pick before midnight (Cst) I will make my pick around 7 in the morning, FYI to whoever is after me.

12 hours is up. It's probably safe to say Vic is no longer with us. I believe Kirk said the next guy doesn't have to wait, so go for it Lyle.

5 picks in 2 hours...that's a pretty good run!

with the run on starting pitching, i chose hellickson because he is one of my favourite players. just thought he might not be around next time i pick. we seem to already at the point where you have to start taking favourites if you intend to get them. 20 teams really makes a difference.

Sorry dude. With all the pitchers that were going, I wanted to pick him up.

I just knew I should have taken an ace in round 3. well is getting pretty dry in that area.

I almost took Hellickson. Too many choices and not enough bad picks to help me along.
Nice pace this morning!

Holy crap! I wasn't expecting virtually everyone to pick a pitcher this round! Wow

Don't worry about pitching, fellas! I've got four aces, and I'm willing to trade for a reasonably fair deal

Grumpy, you may have screwed yourself over if no one wants to make a deal with you

No chance. If no trades come my way, I have the best rotation in baseball. It's win-win.
